Their fetters flower because they accept themselves in right relation, with consent, with honor, within the law of the land and the law of the soul. Skulls at the foot of the throne murmur of time, urging the living to taste the sweetness of incarnation while breath still moves. 
Symbolism of the Waters 
The mirror is black water, the lunar pool of the unconscious. In its surface the tides of longing rise and fall. Enter with intention and the waters anoint and renew. Enter without measure and the same waters drown the will. The alchemist calls this the first matter, the nigredo that can be refined into gold through balance and steady flame.
